Does the Job!!

Done what I needed it to do. I think it is a great product for the price.

It is a big plastic bucket

I've used it once and it did it's thing. The lid snaps on air tight. I only filled it to 6 gallons and had plenty of head space. I have a 5 cubic ft freezer with a heating pad and an Inkbird temp. controller that I use as a fermentation chamber. For that small freezer, the base of this fermenter fits snuggly in the bottom. I used a siphon to rack to a secondary. It is about as big as I can easily handle. If you mash and boil a double batch, you'll need a 10 - 15 gallon fermenter or two smaller buckets (and a larger freezer to ferment in!) Being able to move the fermenter is a big plus. I'm happy with the purchase.

Bucket fermenter

The bucket worked way better than big mouth bubbler when you make wine with the skins. It gives you a lot more room for grape skin bag and wood chips.

Master vintner winemaking bucket

I use the bucket for the initial fermenting of my wine. The bucket is very sturdy & easy to Handel. The only regret is I did not purchase the top that goes with the bucket.
