Dead yeast

I have had great experiences from this company except in this case. I followed the directions very carefully and double checked my process. I could not get the juice to perk with the yeast that was provided (dry yeast) and made certain of fluid temps as well as adding proper yeast nutrient. I resorted to using local champagne yeast and that rescued the batch. I later had the same trouble with yeast for the Sctch Ale I purchased as well. Unfortunately I was unable to rescue that batch of wort and had to dump that bucket. I have been making wine and beer for nearly 50 years so I know what I am doing. My equipment and conditions are impeccable. To say this shipment was disappointing is an understatement. Up until now I have always had great products from you.
