I love white wheat, especially in my ipas. I stumbled upon this in a forum and decided to give it a go. Amazing creaminess that comes through that I liken to sweet rolls. I keep it in stock
Amazing product. I used this wheat for a small bourbon mash. I only used 20% (60%corn,20%winter wheat,10%rye,10%oats) and the wheat just pops. It's very strong. The white dog whiskey came out amazing. The standard wheat notes are there..but there is an deep amazing cookie dough/short bread kinda of note. Very happy.
Definitely worth the price, although I would caution that in a more complicated grain bill it can get a little lost, so probably best used in a simpler beer. Still quite tasty though
Mecca Grade malts are outstanding! Used Lamonta with Shaniko to make an incredible NEIPA! I would definitely use it again.
