Background
Mosaic was developed by the Hop Breeding Company and released in 2012 as a daughter of Simcoe® crossed with a Nugget-derived male. Its complex aroma profile—spanning citrus, tropical fruit, berries, florals, and earthy tones—made it an instant hit in hop-forward beers. The Cryo Hops® version, created using Yakima Chief’s LupuLN2® process, intensifies Mosaic’s rich lupulin content while minimizing green matter, resulting in a cleaner, more potent hop character that excels in whirlpool and dry hop additions.
