Sauvignon Blanc Wine Kit - Master Vintner® Winemaker's Reserve®

Kit well made with good ingredients and makes an exceptional final product. Instructions are not great for inexperienced wine makers. Instructions were sometimes unclear and forced utilizing other resources to find out what was really needed. Luckily had friend with experience to help interpret and explain some of the steps.

Can't review a kit until it is mature in the bottle. Ask in 2 years. Good results on a similar kit 6 years back.

The Sauvignon blanc kit is giving me problems with clearing. Even after an additional racking and then a few days extra with addition of a Gelatine based fining agent. Other similar wine kits start with Bentonite and I haven’t seen this problem before

So far, and it is 4 weeks since bottling, we have drank 8 bottles. I have not noticed and difference really from the first. It is delightfully drinkable. Not the best SB I have ever had and far from the worst. I think it is as advertised, a great drinking, easy going, every day wine. I have shared it with 4 friends and the reports have been favorable. It was astonishing to see how clear it got after the fining agents were added. Remember we are talking about $3/bottle here, mind blown. Easily on par or better than most any 10-15$ bottle I have had. This was my first Master Vintner kit and the process was very clearly laid out, no issues whatsoever. I will definitely try another. Maybe one of the higher end Reds with skins.
