I bought this regulator + a nitrogen tank from NB and encountered two problems. I assume the gauge works fine and looks high quality, but...

1/ my local gas supplier informed me when I exchanged my new tank that they don't use female connections on smaller tanks for "beer gas" anymore. It now mimics Co2 tanks. Thus, I had to buy a connector to fit this nitrogen regulator onto a nitrogen tank. Cost me an extra $15 and now I have this really long connection coming out of the tank.

2/ it would be so much better if this came with a ball valve shutoff, like my Co2 regulator has. I actually have an extra ball valve, but the way this is configured I can't use it (unless I used gas line as a connector which seems clumsy at best). The out connector is in there so tight I can't unscrew it and am worried I will damage the regulator if I do.

I really like having a ball valve shutoff on the tank side. I can live without it, but for the price it would have been nice.

Great

Excellent condition, easy to adjust, what else could you ask for in a reg?
