Move Wort From Here To There And Back Again...

Giving 4 stars at this juncture ONLY because I have only had the opportunity to use this pump for two brews. That said, it works as advertised. It moves hot wort in a big swirly circle for whirlpooling hop stands, and it works extremely well for pumping the cooled wort from the keggle to the fermenter. Easy to use, easy to clean. But, as noted, I've only used it for two brew sessions at this point (well, three if you count the non-brew test run to clean it out) so... we'll see what kind of longevity it has.

Stainless wort pump

Works well
Advise, mount to a wooden portable base, 3/4 “ thick 12” x 12”
Have mash tun and brew kettle at least 4’ above pump. Place pump on floor. Stove height is about right. Mash tun on table approximate height of stove or burner. If using propane burner stack concrete blocks to approximate height of mash tun. Then transfer back and forth is very easy. Use silicon tubing though, wort and strike water too hot for vinyl. Limit transfer tubing to 10 feet kettle to pump, 10 feet from pump to mash tun. If lauter tun is no more then 4 feet above mash tun you are good to go.
