Nut Brown Ale Small Batch Recipe Kit
Styled after southern English brown ales, our Nut Brown Ale kit is a great all-around beer: it's easy to brew (its dark color and rich flavor make it forgiving of mistakes), it's mild enough for light beer drinkers, but characterful enough for more experienced brewers and beer lovers. The finished product exhibits a deep copper color, fruity/caramelly flavor and aroma with toasty, chocolaty notes; and it tastes great after just a few weeks.

This is a very good kit for beginners. I achieved great results on my first attempt.
Easy enough to follow recipe. But the finished product was thin and watery. I would add a cup more of the adjunct grains or half pound more of the DME to give it more body.
Taste marvelous. I added a few extra ingredients to raise gravity and flavor complex, but this kit is dynamite! Final gravity of 1.014 after 10 days in primary. Very tasty!
Nut Brown Ale is the carboy for another week. Then it will get racked, then we wait again. I will keep you updated as to how it tastes after the three weeks are up. Thanks for checking.
Second successful batch!! Ordering more soon and want to design my own recipe!
