Omega Yeast OYL-107 Oktoberfest
A classic Oktoberfest strain, this yeast produces rich, full-bodied, malty beers. This strain is also a good choice for vienna lagers, bocks, and doppelbocks. A thorough diacetyl rest is highly recommended after primary fermentation is complete and before the lagering phase.
*NOTE:*During summer months, we include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeast orders. However, it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will stay frozen given transit times and particularly hot temperatures. For this reason, we recommend ordering dry yeast during summer months.

I brewed my Oktoberfest in February and I contaminated it. I took pictures and went to the Milwaukee store and they gave me a replacement kit, only a few questions asked. You might find kits a little less expensive elsewhere but I know of no others that have a guaranty like that. Besides my last mistake, all my batches turn out great.
