The first in our line of hybrid strains. Saisonstein Monster OYL-500 is a genetic hybrid resulting from the mating of strains OYL026 and OYL027, created by and available exclusively from Omega Yeast. You will not find this strain anywhere else. Less phenolic and more fruit character than 026. Exhibits some of the bubble gum character of 027.
NOTE: During summer months, we include complimentary ice packs with all liquid yeast orders. However, it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will stay frozen given transit times and particularly hot temperatures. For this reason, we recommend ordering dry yeast during summer months.
