Watermelon wine

Made this twice. It’s on the sweet side even at the full 6 gallons. I kegged mine which added a nice bubbly touch. Guests love it especially those who like sweet sparklers. Flavor is what you would expect. I see guests most commonly mixing sparkling water with it. Will make again.

First time making this. It fermented well over 4 weeks at 76° and could have fermented longer. Racked it then. Not sure if I should have racked it at 2 weeks. I'm a beer brewer. Anyway just waiting on my 28 days of conditioning.

My adult daughter has been pestering me to make this. Made it sometime ago and she says it’s one of her favorites. Turns out the wife and my other daughter like it too! No, it’s not a Nebbiolo, but it’s a very good, solid wine cooler

I make 3-4 kits of this a year for the campground. Everyone loves a glass in the summer around the campfire. Throw the cork right in- the bottle won’t last anyway!
