Oxidized

Definitely didn't go as planned. If it's not oxidized the flavor is blah

Fruit Bazooka Brew

I had a pretty decent experience brewing the Fruit Bazooka whole grain recipe. I’m not sure that I could every do it without lots of videos and assistance over YouTube. I have to say that the support team at Northern wan’t too helpful. I sent an email requesting assistance and got a reply 1 or 2 days later.

We’re not professional brewers and we’re spending some bucks on equipment and ingredients. To make it a positive experience, and drive additional sales, I think we need a hot line that’s operated on weekends and minor holidays. That’s when we need help.

That all said, the brew came out awesome. I was careful about sanitation and eventually kegged my Fruit Bazooka, force carbonated it, and now we’re enjoying.

The ingredients were top rate and the equipment, mostly purchased from Northern performed as expected, but I did make some dumb mistakes and had to replace both the yeast and the grains that my kit came with.

An excellent all-rounder for American beer styles.

Excellent choice for for light colored, American-style lagers, cream ale, Cold IPA and new world Kolsch. Lighter in color, mildly sweet, not particularly grainy or nutty. Produced a clear, DMS-free beer using single infusion mashing and 90-minute boil.

Just what my Tasmanian Devil IPA needed

With my local homebrew store going out of business, I needed to take matters in my own hands. This 55 lbs sack of Rahr Premium Pilsner malt is just what my favorite beer needed. I recently brewed a fifth generation Tasmanian Devil IPA using the original yeast strain from the kit I purchased from Northern Brewer. I highly recommend this malt.
