It works for me

I use these for pressing pear juice in a cider mill. The hulls help the fruit pulp to release the juice. If it works for this, it will surely help the sparging process if you're running into a struck mash for some reason.

Also; Thank You!, to Northern Brewer for not sending a review request right away, as some companies foolishly do. This gave me time to actually use the product before writing this review! What a concept, hey?

Using rice hulls in the mash

I ordered the rice hulls to use in a brew with rye and wheat. Worked great, the re-circulation and sparse ran with no issues. Also improved my mash efficiency. I use some in every batch now.
