Rice Syrup Solids 1 lb
Adds gravity without impacting color or flavor. Lightens body and dries the finish. Use up to 15% for American or Japanese-style light lagers.
Rice syrup did just what I needed . Constant quality thank you
If you are looking to increase the gravity of a brew without increasing body or maltiness, you can't do better than this. As far as I can tell, it produces no off-flavors the way cane sugar can and I like it more than corn sugar. I use it in English ale recipes where it calls for kettle sugars, as making invert sugar is a PIA.
Works well, mixes to wort directly (stir liberally) and promotes healthy utilization and clearing later. Before this, I just used raw rice.
wouldn't brew without it. Rice =Grainuse one lb per batch in the Pilzner arena
