Product details

Filters down to .22 micron with 99.99% efficiency. Use with 3/8" ID tubing (1/4" ID will also work). Can be used as a microbiological air filter for aeration systems, or keg hand pumps. This filter can also make sterile water for yeast starters, rehydrating dry yeast, or topping up.

Sanitary Filter is a Must

I bought a back-up a number of years ago and finally tossed out my original filter just for the heck of it. I hope all brewers do use a filter. Lasts for years and is cheap to replace!

This filter works great for my aeration stone and pump.

In Line filter

Bought this a couple months ago, made all the adaptations to it and even went as far as buying tubing that would fit it. Long story short after assembling my set up with pump and everything it barely puts out a fizz from the wand. When you see demonstrations of this product using pure oxygen bottle it's not even close. I have yet to try the bottle method but disappointed I wasted my money and then some on this.

sanitary filter

The short and sweet answer is need a reducer to adapt the filter to the smaller tubing coming out of most air pumps. Also if you are using the bubbler with wand ( which is great) than another reducer is required. Haven't purchased reducersyet but believe the filter will work great when I do.
