The Therminator Backflush Assembly from Blichmann Engineering can be attached to your plate chiller (Therminator or Shirron Chiller) for easy cleaning.
When i first acquired my Therminator plate chillerI had no idea how I was going to flush out the wort before storing it. The backflush assembly is worth the money.

This makes the backwash of the plate chiller simple and easy. While it would be easy enough to make one of my own, I do not regret this purchase, and if needed, I would buy it again.

If you’re going to spend the money on a therminator you really need to get this. Blasts anything that might be stuck right out.

A less expensive option . . .
that will work for many, if not most, is to buy a 3/4" x 1/2" female to female adapter and join the terminator directly to your hose or utility sink faucet. This option worked great for me and cost $7 at my neighborhood hardware store; no doubt it can be found for less at a box store or online.
Whatever your solution, you will need to flush out the inside of the Therminator. Don't spend a lot of coin on a great chiller and then let it become a jungle inside.
