Vintner's Best® Elderberry Fruit Wine Base 128 oz.
A blend of juice concentrates, corn syrup, citric acid and natural flavor designed to make a fermentable base for an Elderberry wine blend at 18.6 Brix. The product is blended, pasteurized and can be stored at ambient temperature.

Made some awesome high alcohol Elderberry wine using this juice concentrate. Was recommended to dilute and pitch with Lalvin 1116 but read that that yeast strain was not suitable for high sugar must. Researched Zinfandel yeast strains and found Lalvin 1143 aka Uvaferm 43. Now have a new recipe and yeast strain added to my favorites. Excellent for fortified wine and will also like to try their grape concentrate. Highly recommend Vintner's fruit wine base.
