Siphonless Little Big Mouth Bubbler® Glass Fermentor

Works great. However I am concerned about them breaking as there are cracks around the holes that the spigots go in.

The glass around the spout is very thin. I was extra careful in attaching the spout so as to not over tighten, so much so that it leaked slightly while brewing. The glass around the spout broke while cleaning the fermenter after first brew. Do not recommend.

Easy to use. Great customer service

Works great on small batch brews

I love this fermenter! I purchased 3 of these (all with the spigot) and I love how easy they are to use, clean, and rack my wine. One of the main features is the fact they have a 1.4 gallon capacity which means I can setup my must to be 1.2 gallons, which allows enough headroom for bubbling froth that won't get into my airlock, and the extra .2 gal means I can leave behind the lees when I siphon and I end up with exactly 1 gallon of clean, clear wine.

The only issue I have is the lid doesn't seal on any of my 3 carboys. I see active fermentation with lots of bubbling, but my airlock is completely still, no bubbling. I thought it was an issue with my stopper, or the lid not being tight enough, but after changing the lid with a lid from one of my other Little Big Mouth Bubblers, almost over-tightening it, and ensuring the stopper was fully seated, I still didn't have a tight seal. I tried a replacement lid from another website that fit the Little Big Mouth Bubbler which uses a silicone seal, and my airlock started bubbling after 10 seconds. Hopefully this is something Northern Brewer can implement, as I feel this LBMB is the best fermenter on the market if they can figure out the lid seal issue.
