Excellent Lager yeast

This is a great lager yeast for many lagers, however I primarily use it in a German Bitburger I do. It lends to an incredible flavor with or without lagering the beer, but I do lager in my temp controlled freezer, typically for 6-8 weeks. The Yeast ferments great at the lower end of its optimal temperature, I typically put it in at the high end and as soon as fermentation takes off, I lower it 5 degrees a day until 48F. Don't forget to do the diacetyl rest once fermentation is complete, before you lager.

Mine was fine

I had 10 Gal. in a chest freezer with a thermostat on it. I ran it at 52 degrees the whole 3 months until diacetyl rest. It bubbled with vigor.
