Bananas and cloves

First attempt at a hefewiezen. Made 5 gallons for an Octoberfest party, and it ran out before the party was over, so I would say the flavor from this yeast was a hit. Will definitely buy it again the next time.

Must have for hefeweizen

This is one of my favorite yeast strains. But I love hefeweizens. The package came chilled and the yeast pack was fresh and healthy. Started fermenting straight from the pack in 1.062 OG wort within ~8 hours. My hefes seem to turn out more like Franziskaner than Weihenstephaner, but that's probably my temperature control.
