I hadn’t made wine since 2010. My chemistry major son was interested so I pulled out my old equipment. We ordered some yeast and fresh supplies from Northern Brewer and got a beautiful 3 gallons of apple wine going. We had so much fun we decided to make 3’gallons of rhubarb. We had a ton of trouble getting that to start working and were worried we had lost 9 pounds of rhubarb and 9 lbs of sugar. But with the advice and support of the folks at Northern Brewer, the rhubarb is a’bubblin’ and tastes
great already. That was a relief. NOW we have gone completely wild and picked out a beer kit and I have never made beer before. But on to a new adventure, and we now have 5 gallons of beer a’bubblin’ along with the 6 gallons of wine! What a mess we have made of the kitchen! But despite this horrid pandemic situation, what a fun time we have had and are having. Looking forward to completely devastating the kitchen at bottling time! Thanks, Northern Brewer!!
I'm making mead and haven't yet tasted the aged final result, but it seems to be working fine, certainly perks up the yeasty bois!
Excellent, I need to order more. Thank you
Showed up on time and works exactly like it's supposed to. Used it for home brewed seltzer. 1 Tbs dissolved in 1/2 cup of 160+ deg water each day, for five days after brewing.
