Corn sugar
My favorite priming method. This convenient little bag is nice for bottling day, but 5 oz. might be to much for some beers. Check with a priming sugar calculator. Brewdog333

Its corn sugar. It works. It is easy to use.
This corn sugar is made up of very fine crystals which are easy to "pour" and dissolve very easily in boiling water. Fermenter's Favorites products are always pure, high quality, and they work. I have started to purchase the larger 1 and 5 Lb bags to save money. The remaining portions are easy to store in 1 gallon size ziploc bags.

Why would I use this in place of pure cane sugar that I already keep in the house?
S T on Apr 3, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Corn sugar ( dextrose ) ferments away VERY cleanly and fully, so it's a great choice for bottle-conditioning beer. Cane sugar ( sucrose/glucose ) works also, but does not ferment away as completely, and it can affect the flavor of a beer. In the small quantities used for bottling, it is fine to use, and most people report no flavor issues when using it for priming. In larger quantities it could affect the flavor of a beer, so dextrose is preferred for most beer uses. -Mike W, Northern Brewer
Does the 4 pound package come in a resealable container?
A shopper on Jan 19, 2017
BEST ANSWER: No. You will want to find something to seal it in or it will take on moisture fast!
