There was a delivery mishap and the company gladly resent my order. This is real customer service!
Interesting flavors. I've made a Pils and a Red Ale with these hops. So far, good flavor but they all seem to impart a slightly fruity flavor.
Definitely worth trying, and I'm looking forward to the next few batches.
I had previously brewed a clone recipe from BYO for Foundation Brewing's Epiphany, a Maine/NE IPA. I used the same recipe this time but substituted some of these South African hops using Beersmith to get approximately the same IBU's. It's awesome! Definitely different than the US hops but just as good.
As a South African, now an American citizen ... and a home brewer, I was very excited to find these ... bought a lot :-)
Making a few "African theme" beers!
Great product, and great buying experience!
