Product details

Northern Brewer's Briess Munich Malt Extract Syrup is a 50/50 blend of pale and Munich malts. It produces a red-amber wort with an exceptional dense chewy-malty flavor.

The fabled and delicious malty-ness of German beers can be yours! Great for Doppelbocks, Oktoberfest, and more. Approximately 8L, 1.036 ppg.

Northern Brewer's Briess Malt Syrups are some of the freshest malt extracts you can buy. Our high rate of turnover -- we package and sell hundreds of gallons every day -- means that the syrup you receive won't have been sitting on the shelf for months. Fresh malt extract makes better beer!

Really good base for Octoberfest!

I’m new to brewing and decided be adventurous and make my own version of “Oktoberfest”. The results were great and Munich malt was on of my main ingredients.

Great price

Great price on munich malt extract for my Oktoberfest. Made a five gallon batch partial mash with half of the extract munich and half pilsen. I liked the combo. I usually use all munich and it is a litte heavy.

Ofest clones

Thanks for the fast and efficient service. The Munich Malt is a great building block for any clone of Merzen style. I have tried All grain Munich malts with some good and mediocre results. This seems to provide a better and more repeatable component. I keg My beer and learn a little more each time.
Regards

John
