This premium extra dark Belgian candi syrup is made from beet sugar and date sugar and has deep flavors of fresh ground coffee, dark fruit, and toasted bread. Perfect for use in dark Belgian ales. 180 SRM, 1.032 PPG.
I used this in a Belgian Dark Strong Ale, and I wish I had used two of them to bring out enough darkness. Still, it worked really well!

Superb low refined sugar, does not leave off flavors after ferment, I have been using D-180 for many years in adjunct with 4 other low refined sugars, as a part of the mix I use 1lb per 5g batch, I feel like a hoppy (not mad) scientist mixing all these sugars together, jammin'!
I used 2# of D-180 in a Belgian Dark Strong Ale and the flavor really shines.
Never make a dark belgian beer without it.
