Product details

Take control of your fermentation with the FermoTemp® electric heat wrap.

To consistently create your favorite beer or wine you'll need precise control of your fermenter's temperature. Attach the FermoTemp to a glass, plastic, or stainless steel carboy using electrical tape. Extra thick construction ensures durability to withstand the knocks and bumps encountered in your brewhouse.

For optimal results, use with an electronic temperature controller, such as our Dual-Stage Temp Controller.

Works great with plastic buckets, fermentation boxes, and especially our Big Mouth Bubblers®.

It plugs into a standard North American electrical outlet. 110 volts. 35 watts.

Fermi Temp heater

This is the second heat wrap I have bought and just love it I can ferment two batches at once and it inables me to keep my brews in my basement where it’s usually cool.

FermoTemp Wrap

Does an excellent job of maintaining ferm temp. Used for the first time on a Black IPA. Yeast ferm temp called for 65 degrees. Set my Inkbird Temp Controller to maintain the temp between 65 and 66 degrees. Lowest temp it got to was 64.9 and highest temp was 66.1. Very happy with how it maintains the temp in a very small range. When it clicks on, it is a very gentle heat and slowly warms the wort back up. I highly recommend it.

Great heater

This wrap heater works great. Just wrap around your carboy, secure with electrical tape and control it with a temperature controller (sold separately) and you can maintain the fermentation temperature of your wort. If you want to consistently make good beer the secret is maintaining a constant temperature while fermenting. Temp too low, you'll stress the yeast. Temp too high, you'll stress the yeast, both leading to different flavors produced by the stressed yeast.

Instructions were a bit vague on the controller, but trial and error worked and it works great.
