Product details

Forget what the local forecast says. It's pouring pure sunshine anywhere you're pouring Grapefruit Pulpin'. Whether you're looking to escape the winter blues or find the perfect pairing for a summer afternoon, each pint of Pulpin' is like a fresh Florida grapefruit grove bottled up into a single refreshing serving.

Packed with the freshest ingredients and easy instructions, this beer recipe kit yields an IPA boasting hints of apricot, peach, cantaloupe and lemon as it dives into crisp grapefruit flavor. Its citrusy hop aroma is laced with notes of ruby red grapefruit, complementing a hoppy, lingering bitterness.

Due to the high starting gravity of this kit, we recommend pitching multiple packs of yeast or preparing a yeast starter for best results.

Grapefruit IPA as good as anything you will find

We have enjoyed this brew many times over the last few years. Cannot do better than this.

Ii ordered several products and kits from you. I just put a batch of the Kama Citra wort into the fermenter yesterday, while finishing off the Dead Ringer. The Grapefruit Pulpin will be made into wort in 4 weeks, so i cannot give review just yet. I will give Northern Brewer 5 stars for making ne a beer making fool !!

First IPA and it’s Tasty

I have been brewing for two years and finally gave into my kids pressure to brew them an IPA. They picked the recipe and they are extremely happy with the results. I’m enjoying it as well and I’m not one who partakes much in the IPAs. Very tasty and will brew it again.

Wow! Fantastic

I brewed this for the wedding of some dear friends. This was the only keg that was completely drained at the wedding. The IPA was decent tasting on its own, but once the grapefruit is added it moved on to a whole new level. If I were to brew it again, I would probably finish it out so it were a lower ABV, and maybe only use 75% of the grapefruit granules. But that is just my preference. Stock and following the directions as written will still produce a GREAT beer.

Boom!

What a great beer kit. I’ve made this before, and find myself coming back. Boosted with #1 DME, and some grapefruit peels, ending in 7%, and a nice finish. Thanks guys!
