Imperial Yeast A07 Flagship
The industry standard, Flagship is an all-purpose strain loved for its extremely clean character. This strain performs well at standard ale temperatures, but can be fermented in the lower temperature range to produce exceptionally crispness. Flocculation is in the middle of the road and will typically require filtration or fining if a crystal clear beer is desired.
*NOTE:*During summer months, we include complimentary ice packs will all liquid yeast orders. However, it is difficult to guarantee that the ice packs will stay frozen given transit times and particularly hot temperatures. For this reason, we recommend ordering dry yeast during summer months.

Worked fast and furious. Needed to set up a blow off tube within 8 hours while it was fermenting some Ace of Spades IPA.
I made a yeast starter with the Imperial A07 Flagship roughly 2 hours before brewing and it was potent. Pitched the yeast-starter and got high activity less than 12 hours later.
When I received this yeast it had swollen quite a bit as it was Summer when it was shipped. The high temperature did not hurt this yeast AT ALL! It came shipped in a small insulated sleeve with an icepack, that I still use.
Anyways, this was the first time I have needed to use a blow-off tube for my 7.5 gallon Fermonster. The fermentation from this yeast was extremely fast and clean. I will definetely add this yeast to my current yeast bank and will be buying more after it reaches the 3rd generation.
I thought kveik yeast was a strong performer, but Flagship is “better”. Very strong out of the gate, and FAST compared to others, 2-3 days faster if you’re in a hurry.
The other attribute unique to this yeast is a pronounced difference in accenting flavors in your recipe, without off flavors, and still a clean crisp finish.
I saved a vile to further experiment with, but I’m impressed.
