Northern Brewer Mini Keg Ball Lock Lid

Have been brewing for 10+ years and have gone to doing smaller batches for convenience and for experimentation. Bought this with the 1 gallon mini-keg. Can obviously keep it in your kegerator but it is a convenient option for use in a regular fridge door shelf. Works as expected and hope it will last like my 5-gallon corny kegs and other ball-locks have.

The ball lock lid works great and does exactly what the product description says it does. The lid seals well and doesn't leak.
That being said the lid is perfectly smooth all the way around which can make it difficult to grip and unscrew it. Some knurling, tabs or even a handle like on the Trailkeg lid would a good improvement.
I would also have liked a stainless steel dip tube option instead of the vinyl tubing it comes with.
