  • Overall Impression: An easy drinking flavorful wheat beer with pleasing notes of earthy spice, orange-like citrus, and floral undertones. Perfect for warm afternoons in the sun.

Brewmaster Brad's Notes: "Obi Ron's Wheat is a perfect beer for the spring and summer months, but it goes down just as nicely any time of year. Brewed with nearly 50% white wheat and a dash of light crystal malt, the malt flavors are quite prominent and serve as a perfect backdrop for a modest hop charge. The choice of liquid yeast pairings works wonderfully to accentuate hop flavor with a heightened fermentation-derived ester profile, and a small Centennial dry hop step serves to really round out the aroma."

Liked this a lot! Tweaked with a few additions and came out very well...I'm sure the stand alone recipe is tasty as well....

This Is the Beer You've Been Looking For

This beer was fun to brew, and everyone who tried it was impressed. The dry hopping really elevates this one from a run-of-the-mill beer to something truly special. My OG was a bit lower than the target, but that's most likely due to my own setup rather than the recipe. I highly recommend giving this beer a shot. May the Force be with your brew.

grassy, lemony?

not sure what happened here, hit my OG, hit my FG, dry hopped 4 days ambient, 4 days @40. kegged. Nothing like the real thing sad to say:( maybe fermentation was too high (ambient basement temps upper 60's). it's ok on it's own, but side by side, it's horrible...not sure what went wrong.
