Brewmaster Brad's Notes: "Obi Ron's Wheat is a perfect beer for the spring and summer months, but it goes down just as nicely any time of year. Brewed with nearly 50% white wheat and a dash of light crystal malt, the malt flavors are quite prominent and serve as a perfect backdrop for a modest hop charge. The choice of liquid yeast pairings works wonderfully to accentuate hop flavor with a heightened fermentation derived ester profile, and a small Centennial dry hop step serves to really round out the aroma."

waited longer then I liked to brew it but loved turn out, great stuff
I'm a huge fan of Oberon and Two Hearted (Bells). This is the first time brewing beer and I couldn't be happier. (I'm really hoping it isn't beginner's luck!?) This is awesome and I've blown my friends away with this one. To me it turned out like a cross between Oberon and Two Hearted. To get closer to Oberon you could probably cut out the dry hop (or cut it in half). Absolutely doing this one again after I bottle the Zombie Dirt in 2 weeks! Absolutely recommend!!!!
Brewed it three times, this was with Imperial Independence, and best yet. Very easy, pleasant drinking, about the only wheat beer I really like. First time, I accidentally used 1 1/2 lbs LME in last 15 minute addition, And came out as an Obi Ron Light, almost better! I enjoy easily approachable beers, and this is one.
This turned out so good! It is a perfect summer beer! This will absolutely be in my rotation. It is a very delicious, crisp, refreshing beer! I can't wait to do it again!
This beer is just great for a hot summer days. I have done a few varieties and this is the one my husband has been hounding me to buy/make again since the tap ran dry. It's simple in taste for the none beer enthusiast and satisfying for those who are gaining a better appreciation for beers in general. He liked it so much he built my keezer (2 taps) with the eager insistence that we keep the Obi on constant rotation. I would like to say our friends enjoyed it but honestly we were greedy and never shared it. This is a straight up wheat beer and though I never had it's "original namesake copycat" I really like it too.
