A strain for the traditional top-fermenting style from D¼sseldorf. Alt was considered the "old" style from before the advent of bottom-fermenting lager yeasts. This top cropping yeast strain from Germany with clean flavor profile and broad fermentation range. Beers mature rapidly, even when cold fermentation is used. Low or no detectable diacetyl.
