Product details

It's really simple. Yeast needs oxygen. Sure, you can shake that carboy or bucket of wort, but there's only so much oxygen you can get into wort using air alone. The Oxygenation Kit 2.0 is much quicker and easier than agitation. Give your yeast the oxygen they need to start fermentation fast and finish strong. Includes 16" aeration wand with 0.5 micron tip, tubing, and oxygen regulator.

Effortlessly infuse wort with pure oxygen in less than a minute, maximizing the level of dissolved oxygen to dramatically decrease lag time and yield vastly improved yeast attenuation. Equipped with a 16" aeration wand, the Oxygenation Kit 2.0 ensures oxygen infusion into even the deepest pockets of your fermentor.

While beneficial for all brews, oxygenation is as important as yeast pitching rate for high-gravity beers and lagers. Provide the yeast with an optimal fermentation environment to ensure they produce the optimal brew.

Great product

Works exactly as it should, so much easier than trying to shake the fermenter. Much better results adding oxygen instead of just room air. I use it before pitching the yeast and again one to two hours after. Fermentation starts within hours.

Gives yeast a feast to eat.

Pumping only about 15 seconds of oxygen. I’m about 2-3 hours the yeast goes to work.

Oxygenation Kit 2.0

The wand could have been a little longer for the fermenter I use. I should researched before buying.

Oxygenation kit

Worked great. Had a little trouble finding an oxygen canister, but finally found one at Menards.

Check the "herbie clamp"!

The description of this product includes that the "tubing is secured to the wand by a herbie clamp to ensure a tight fit.” Hmm. My oxygenation kit arrived fully assembled. During my second use of it, the wand blew out of the tubing and submerged into my carboy full of wort. I had to pour the sanitizer out of its bucket, pour the wort into the sanitizer bucket, and shake out the wand. I then poured the wort back to to the carboy. The part of the wand that was in the tubing had not been sanitized. As it turns out, the herbie clamp was not tight enough to ensure a tight fit.
On the bright side, the batch was fully oxygenated.
