Permafrost White IPA All Grain Beer Recipe Kit
This complex and hoppy brew will help you to navigate the doldrums of seemingly never ending winters. Developed with the pioneering spirit of American brewers, this White IPA melds old world tradition with the hoppy boldness of an American IPA.
At first glance this beer is as white as a frozen tundra, but upon closer scrutiny, tall drifts of American hop flavor and aromas abound. A traditional witbier grain bill and yeast strain coupled with West Coast American hops yields a wonderfully complex India White Ale. A slight spice and tartness from the yeast intermingling with citrus notes from abundant hop additions compliment the silky smooth body created by flaked oats and unmalted wheat. Stay frosty my friends!

Somewhere along the way my brew went bad during the fermentation process. I followed through to keging just hoping something would change but it was gone. Had to pour it all out. I can’t give it anything less than 5 stars as I’m not sure where the brew went wrong. I had 2 brews going at the same time and my other brew came out great. Not sure if was the yeast. ???

This is a beautiful IPA. Citrusy with a touch of black pepper spice on the back end. It has a softer mouthfeel then your typical West Coast IPA and is not as bitter. I used Imperial Yeast B44 Whiteout with this beer.
This has to be one of the best recipes I've brewed. Wonderful color and aroma, and a unique taste. I used White Labs WLP400 yeast which really took off in just a few hours. I would definitely recommend this beer.
