Gas side ball lock post assembly with poppet valve. Type B fits Cornelius Spartan, Super Champion and kegs. The current Type B posts have a slightly larger base than the old style, but still have the same thread size.

It works well

I have some ancient kegs that I still use. I have replaced the posts, gas and liquid, on most of them. It helps extend the lives of these kegs.
