Great customer service.

The process of ordering and receiving my wine kit was great. Since it was just recently received, I haven't yet started making it yet but I have made it before and it is my favorite of the desert wines.

Cru Dessert Wine (Port)

This will be the fourth time we've made a double batch of port. Big favorite with our guests. All prior batches were very smooth despite their high ABV. I haven't processed the kits from this latest purchase, but I have confidence they will match past results.

Love this stuff

Makes great wine for those of us who have a sweet tooth.
I generally start a batch in September and bottle it in small 350 ml bottles. They make fantastic Christmas gifts.

Just not for me

The kit was easy enough to put together but at the time of bottling there seems to be some coffee and tobacco flavors that I don't much care for. Maybe this wine will get better after aging and all the flavors have time to mellow and mingle, if it does I will update this review. If you do buy this kit, use both packets of yeast and allow at least two months for clarifying, it is a thick and potent wine. The kit yields 3 gallons
