Wyeast 2308 Munich Lager is a unique yeast strain, capable of producing fine lagers. Very smooth, well-rounded and full-bodied. Benefits from temperature rise for diacetyl rest. Apparent attenuation: 73-77%. Flocculation: medium. Optimum temp: 48°-56° F

Wyeast 2308 Munich lager, great yeast that helps bring out the malt profile needed in the Maypole Maibock kit. Fermented really well taking this boch to well over 6% ABV!
Made a doppelbock and it turned out great. Also started a frozen yeast bank with this strain - so far have used one vial and it was still viable.
This 2308 Munich Lager Yeast works great for my Bavarian Pilsner. It ferments cleanly and leaves me with a bier that bring me back to my Munich vacation!

Short lag time, much shorter than other Munich lagers I have used. Tastes delicious.
