Product details

One of the only beer styles truly born in the USA, this classic American Cream Ale is medium-light bodied and smooth, gold in color and low in bitterness.

Cream Ales played a brief, but shining role in American beer history. As crisp, clean pilsners gained popularity in the US thanks to the influence of German immigrants, American ale-makers responded with a style that mimicked the lighter-tasting lagers sweeping the nation. Though nowhere near as wildly popular, Cream Ales remained an easy-drinking specialty style in the Eastern US for years to come.

Like the original, our Cream Ale is medium-bodied and smooth on the palate, gold in color and low in bitterness. Custom-built with quality ingredients, the recipe kit includes a specialty grain blend that adds some complexity with a clean, sweet malt profile and a hint of buttered toast in the aroma and flavor. A homebrewed "lawnmower beer," Cream Ale is pretty hard to beat as a summertime thirst-quencher.

Second try

It came out a little darker and less abv than expected but it is very drinkable. First time I’ve put in a keg and will definitely try this one again.

Creme Ale with blueberry

Great all grain kit. I added blueberries for a summertime brew. Came out great. I'll buy again.

Cream Ale kit

Good beer so far. Fermented with w 34/70 for 14 days and it's been in the keg conditioning for 2 weeks. The first pint was good, but I am excited to try it after 2-3 more weeks of conditioning. Cheers!

Love this Easy Classic on a Hot Day

I love this cream Ale and it is so easy to brew. That is why I chose it for my first BIAB. Turned out great and is perfectly refreshing for the hot days of summer.
