Easy to use and very good beer

Friends and family love it and it was easy to get everything together and follow each of the steps

Great kit! Worth your time for quick American pale alt.

The kit came with easy to follow instructions and all of the ingredients you need to brew a 5 gallon batch, except of course, the water. The kit comes with corn syrup that you can use to bump up the ABV to over 5% if you like. I only used half the syrup for an ABV of 4%. If your new to brewing or you're a seasoned brewer who doesn't want to all-grain, this is a great choice.

Blonde cream ale

The kit color did not match the kit description. It did not come out blonde. More like an amber ale.

Everything turned out great in the end

I recieved molasses instead of corn syrup. I assumed I was sent all the correct ingredients and began brewing only to have to run to the grocery store for corn syrup in the middle of my brew. With all of the correct ingredients the beer turned out great. I guess we both need to be more vigilant about double checking our ingredients/recipes (but nobody is paying me to acurate...)
