Product details

An international exclusive, introducing the first-ever 1 gallon winemaking starter kit, complete with premium grape concentrate from world-class vineyards.

Great things come in small packages. Without experience or anything but a passion for wine, you can make top notch, cellar-worthy wine in your kitchen. Master Vintner combines essential equipment that's easy to use with expert instruction that's easy to follow. You'll walk through the essentials of winemaking with exclusive techniques from world-class winemaker Tim Vandergrift.

You don't need time, either. Great wine takes a matter of minutes to make, and then only the patience to let it ferment and mature into perfection. Prep a Cabernet for fermentation while you make dinner, or a pinot noir in the minutes before you head for work in the morning.

We've broken down the process for complex, beautiful wines into simple steps that ensure success, with a minimal investment of precious time.

Great customer service

Great customer service, part of my wine kit was expired and another was dried up and unusable. Contacted them and they sent replacements immediately. Very easy to deal with and helpful. Very grateful.

One Gallon - a great place to start unless its fantastic, then it's not.

Small Batch Wine making Kit had everything that is needed to make your first one gallon batch. I ordered a second Little Big Mouth Fermenter so I could easily expand. I was disappointed, in that my kit included everything listed except the Hydrometer. Northern sent one but it did delay my start.

First batch of Cab has been aging for two months and it exhibits aroma of slight blueberry and alcohol on the nose; a jammy taste; and a slight bitterness on the finish. Not terrible / not great - we'll see what happens after another few months.

One gallon kits are limited, so I have been using Cab and Merlot juice obtained elsewhere and two different yeast strains to create 4 more batches. Results seem to be a little better but it is really too soon to tell for sure. I will start two more batches in the next day or so with a third variation on the yeast.

The included kit did everything possible to eliminate malolactic fermentation because they are trying to get in the bottle in 30 days. I think that is a mistake in the subsequent batches I have started malolactic fermention in the later stages of primary to produce a smoother product earlier, all be it still needing more time to age properly.

That's my two cents worth and I was not even paid that paltry sum!

Small batch wine making kit

Made my first batch of Moscato. Came out great, will be making another soon. Sucks the kit went on sale shortly after I bought it though

Everything you need to start making wine or mead

This kit is great. All the equipment is good quality and the kit instructions were easy to understand and follow. I especially like the little big mouth bubbler, I will definitely be purchasing more of those.
