Oktoberfest All Grain Beer Recipe Kit
This famous German style is stronger than an everyday lager and is the fuel for Oktoberfest celebrations all over the world. The original pre-industrial Oktoberfest was called Märzenbier, brewed at the end of the brewing season in the spring to be lagered in caves all summer for fall and harvest festivities. Our kit will give you a full-bodied and elegant red-amber beer with a subdued German noble hop bitterness and complex malty profile that great all year round.
Due to the high starting gravity of this kit, we recommend pitching multiple packs of yeast or preparing a yeast starter for best results.

This product was a huge hit with everyone who tried it. The Saflager W-34/70 lager yeast worked great. I had a hard time keeping the beer in the proper temperature range during fermenting but with this yeast, it had no affect on the fantastic result.
Great tasting and easy drinking. Take the time to let it age, even if you keg it. Minimum 1 month.
Turned out great!! After i kegged i have it a few days and it cleared up really nice. It was my first lager and I’m really happy with it.
We did a comparison with Sam Adams Oktoberfest and the home brew was the unanimous choice
I will do this every year for sure
It’s nice that all ingredients are weighted for you, and the recipes is pretty good. I ended up brewing this recipe with lutra Kviek, so mine is a pseudo lager.
As far as flavor, it’s good. I might consider making it again. I don’t brew lagers often
I haven't had a chance to try it. My 5 gal batch is in the secondary. I'm doing the full 6 weeks. Should be ready to bottle mov 2nd. I added pumpkin spice and honey to this batch it smells amazing. My 2 year old son helped me siphon to my secondary and he even said how good it smells. Brewing is are father son hobby at home. Can't wait to try a nice cold one. Next is the chocolate milk stout!
