This system is perfect for the person who doesn't want to dedicate a refrigerator to a full size keg system. Simply prime your beer with 3 oz. of priming sugar, transfer into the mini keg, and in 2 -3 weeks you are ready to drink. Four 5L mini kegs is all you need for one batch of beer. You use 16 gm. CO2 cartridges to dispense the beer, but they cannot be used to carbonate the beer. Because you are using CO2, a keg will stay fresh for up to 5 - 6 weeks. You will use 1 CO2 cartridge per keg. Each mini keg will last for 6 - 8 uses before needing to be replaced.

Product was delivered in excellent condition and on time. Party Star mini keg seems to be a quality product. First time doing any kind of kegging so will need to adjust.

So much easier than bottling

I really liked the little kegs. One was perfect for a night with friends, and took so much less time than bottling. I definitely recommend these.

Problematic

It's difficult to gauge how much pressure to set the keg because there is no regulator. Even after much fine tuning the beer would always come out with way too much head. On top of this, half the co2 canisters were immediately spent when attempting to screw them into the tap. The portability is convenient but the value doesn't add up in my opinion.

Nice system

The tap is very convenient for dispensing beer from the mini kegs. Saw warnings on line of over carbonating the beer with priming sugar so I am still trying for the best amount to carbonate the beer but not cause the mini kegs to distort or explode
