IDEAL BREWER’S YEAST FOR FRUITY & HOPPY BEERS

SafAle S-33 is a fruity driven strain that gives a high mouthfeel and body to the beer. Ideal for Belgian Ales (Blond, Dubbel, Tripel, Quadrupel Styles) and strong English ales (ex. Imperial Stouts). It is also ideal for New England IPA’s. Yeast with a medium sedimentation: forms no clumps but a powdery haze when resuspended in the beer.

A general-purpose, widely used ale yeast with low sedimentation properties. This strain is extremely consistent, with excellent wort attenuation and a superb flavor profile.

I used this yeast in a Belgian Cherry Dubbel to help bring out the fruit taste of the cherries. It was also the cold months so my ferment closet was in the mid 60's. It came out AWESOME!!!!! Next up going to try it in a hazy IPA to bring out more tropical notes.

I was VERY skeptical about this yeast being good for a hazy IPAs but I was wrong. It turned out great!

Bock beer

Added Salale S-33 to bock brew on Nov 4th had a bad smell, 30 days in primary plus 3 day rest, put into secondary, smell some what better, hope for the best.
