Speckled Heifer Partial Mash Beer Recipe Kit
Those among us who are or were farm-boys and -girls will correctly identify them as Holsteins; to the rest of the citified, sissified world, they're spotted cows. This multigrained Midwestern take on the American cream ale is an uncomplicated, unfussy, lovable guzzler. Pouring straw gold with a snowy pillow of froth, the nose is gentle and sweet, full of its consituent blend of malted and flaked barley and corn, and the flavor is more of the same. Hops give a little whisper of flowers and spice from the background. A tranquil time-out in a pint glass, a pastoral idyll, a sociable session ale dairyland-style: hey, sometimes a beer is just a beer. Have one.

Easy quick brew. Inexpensive and delicious. I usually throw in a additional pound of light dme to bring up abv a bit.
The kit looked awesome. Ingredients looked wholesome and fresh. I put it together a few days ago, so still in main fermentation. Can't wait to taste it!
I love the was this beer turned out. It is a easy drinking beer. I recommend it to anyone.
Enjoyed it and couldn't be easier to make.
Final product is quite taste, easy to drink for the people that have not gotten into the craft beer seen. Now for a “heads up”, I’ve done about 20 extract kits and this was my 1st partial mash. After the mash with grains, the wort was very light colored. If you check OG use a refractometer with temp adjustments. Hydrometer read 1.00 at that temp. So... don’t sweat it, have fun brewing and enjoy.
