Titan Universal False Bottom - 19" Diameter
Brew bigger. The Titan has been designed and rigorously tested against the most intense grain bills and kettle hop additions our brewmasters could throw at it. Whether you're crafting a 12% imperial stout or a triple IPA with 20 oz. of hops, the Titan is tough enough to take it.
Gleaming, superior stainless construction looks beautiful and lasts a lifetime. Smooth edges won't scratch your precious mash tun, keeping it pristine for countless brews to come. A flanged bottom keeps particulates separated for improved clarity. Best of all, with less than ¼" of dead space you'll get every last drop of wort.
Required but not included: a 3/8" barb for the inside of your kettle or cooler and a short length of high-temp tubing to connect the barb to the elbow on the false bottom. Worm clamps can also help secure this connection.
If using one of our new IsoFlow Bulkheads or EZ Clean Flush Mount bulkheads, choose the IsoFlow Snap In hose barb to connect your false bottom.
A false bottom acts as a strainer, preventing grain particles from draining into the boil kettle with wort. An essential piece of all-grain equipment, we've built the Titan to be stronger and more effective than any other false bottom.
Our brewmasters have thrown every worst-case brewing situation at the Titan. It has never clogged and never collapsed. The two-piece proprietary Titan pickup tube supports the dome to withstand whatever pressure your biggest brew day can muster.
The Titan pickup tube gets closer to the floor of your mash tun than any other false bottom. You'll be able to transfer more of your wort into the boil kettle, leaving less than ¼" behind in what is called the "dead space".
With its chrome-like sheen and smooth edges, it's a beautiful piece of all-grain equipment that keeps the rest of your equipment beautiful, too. No scratched brewing vessels or clogged ball valves. Just a smooth flow, clear wort and an effective, stress-free brew day.

Strong and provides for good filtration. Very low deadspace. Well made. Highly recommend.
Works great. Pickup leaves little behind.
Very sturdy and works well.
I used this false bottom for the first time with the 30 gallon version of the MegaPot 1.2 kettle last Friday (8/10/18). Altogether, there was 54 pounds of milled grain sitting on the false bottom. It worked well not letting any large trub through and it did not collapse. This amount of grain is no problem for the false bottom even when using a RIMS system. (It is possible to stress a false bottom with a pump since it can place additional stress on the false bottom. I've done this once with an almost stuck sparge, )
I purchased the 19 inch version to fit into my 100 liter Italian made kettle. I had to grind down the circumference about an 1/8 inch to make it fit. The thickness of the false bottom is just right and I went from a 3 gallon dead space to less than a half gallon. Efficiency went up by about 5% with the new false bottom. The pickup fitting in the middle also serves as a support so the bottom does not collapse, even with 40 pounds of grain on top of it.
