got what I ordered, at the time they said they would deliver it. Doesn't get much better than that

Great adjunct variety
Needed a replacement for maple syrup, and was delighted to see all the options in sugar that NB had available. A quick order and prompt delivery and we were in business. I'll be tasting this weekend!

Good Stuff
I used this in my own tweaked version of the Festivus Miracle Ale, and it worked very well. It's hard to say what specific flavours came from the Candi sugar against a sweet and roasty malt bill, danky hops, and holiday spices, but I can say all the flavours play very well together. A word of caution with this, as with any sugar, it can really dry things out if you're not careful. I had an OG of 1074, and finished at 1010 even after mashing at 155F and using WY1968. That's 86% attenuation! So keep that in mind when planning a recipe with this stuff.

i'm going to make a flavored lager, is this good to add at 60 minute boil or the last 30 to 15 of the boil ?
A shopper on Apr 21, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I add candi sugar at the end of the boil. No need to caramelize it any further, choose your sugar based on its color contribution. You can even add it to secondary, dissolved in some water.
