Great kit, easy to follow. Liked the oak chips addition. Have not filtered yet
I made one of these Nebbiolo kits a year or so ago, and it has been the most-praised wine I’ve produced so far. I’m down to the last few bottles so I just bottled a second batch, now the long wait to see if it turns out as well as the first!
A great full bodied wine with a robust personality. I used all of the oak sent with the kit… probably a mistake. While the oak probably helps with the personality and diffusing the tannins of the wine, I’m not going to use, or at least severely cut back, the oak in my next batch. Still… this wine is a very drinkable.
Good kit, fairly straight forward instructions, no fussiness with fermentation. The product is very drinkable after bottling unlike some varieties. I've never had a commercial Nebbiolo wine before, but this kit definitely yields a nice wine
Order came on time and the packaging was excellent as always. The fermentation starts strong on the second day. So far so good for now.
