Briess Pilsen Light DME is the lightest pure malt extract available commercially, made from 99% Pilsen Malt and 1% Carapils® Malt. It produces a very crisp, clear wort with a subtle malty flavor—ideal for brewing clean, delicate beer styles.

Usage Information
Briess Pilsen Light DME can be added directly to your kettle or dissolved in warm water before use. It yields about 43 points per gallon per pound and works as both a base for extract brewing and an adjunct to adjust color, flavor, and gravity in all-grain batches.
