Perfect product and good delivery!
I love putting my beer in kegs now. Still have to bottle some for take along beers.
So far so good. I was a little intimidated at first but set up was easy. Recommend reading through the instruction sheet and watching a few videos online before diving in. Enjoying a draft home brew is hard to beat!
All the equipment I bought from Northern Brewer made an easy transition from bottles to kegs. Keep up the good work and I’ll try to keep making solid beer!
The bad first. The liquid out long dip tube has a slight bend on the lip where it attaches to the out connector so when tightening down the connector you have to let the tube swing freely instead of holding it in the optimal position, in the little depression where it is supposed to sit, or it will leak Co2. Second thing is not really a defect its just the way it is designed. I like to put the keg upside down to let it air dry for a day or two after cleaning. So you have to lean it up against something since it is not free standing while upside down. You also have to make sure the opening is the lowest part of the keg during the lean or water will pool in any area below the opening. so you have to make the lean as vertical as possible. which makes it less stable and prone to falling if the balance is'nt just right Third thing, The liquid out disconnect does'nt snap into place you have to position it on the connector with one hand then push the ring down with your other hand. not a big deal but still...
The Good. This is my first keg, so Hey I'm drinking my own beer from a keg. That's awesome! Good looking keg, nice logo, no more bottles, beer tastes great, and carbonates in a day (forced carbonation) instead of two weeks.
