Upgrade your G30 with hassle-free rolled plates! The new rolled edge design on the grain plates eliminates the need for silicone rings and a better brewing experience. By upgrading your Grainfather G30 with the Rolled Plates Kit, there is no need for the silicone rings that come in the original packaging. The rolled-edges provide a better brewing experience by eliminating the need for a silicone ring on the grain plates, which allows the user to more easily insert the bottom grain plate and the top grain plates into the mash basket.

Grainfather G30 Rolled Plates Kit Includes:

  • Top plate with rolled edges.
  • Bottom plate with rolled edges.

G30 Rolled Plates Kit Instructions:

  1. Attach pipework to the G30 rolled bottom plate and gently lower the plate into the inner basket.
  2. Continue brewing as per the G30 instructions.
  3. Use the top G30 rolled plate to sit on top of the mash as you would with the original plate.

Compatible with both the G30 120v and G30 220v models.

Worth the upgrade

Saves a lot of frustration with not having to get the stock bottom plate into place without the gasket popping off. So much happier with these.

This is a major upgrade from the plates with the silicon seals. Definitely would recommend these. No more wasting time trying to keep the old seals on.

These new plates are a vast improvement over the previous plates with the silicon seals. No more fighting to keep the seals on when inserting or removing the plates.

Great Upgrade for the G30

The bottom plate is a game changer.
I hated the silicone ring, it was such a pain to get it positioned right. The rolled plate makes it so easy, drop it in and you’re good!
The top plate is a tad too heavy as it sits on top of the grain bed, so I’ve had to resort to using a bit more rice hulls than usual to prevent the sparge from sticking.

These should come with the unit originally. So much better than mucking about with the seals on original.
